Guardian Homes

Each of our dogs is considered members of our family and deeply loved and respected. In order to grow our breeding program and provide each of our breeding dogs with a FOREVER loving family environment, we utilize guardian homes.
A guardian home is a great way for a family to have one of our dogs without having the upfront cost of buying a high quality puppy. A guardian home is a person/family who agree to raise and care for a breeder's dog as a loved family pet for the duration of it's breeding career (typically 3-4 years.) Once their breeding career is finished, full ownership will be transferred to the guardian home.
You are providing an amazing service for us, so we provide compensation per litter (dams) or stud (sire).

We do have several requirements of our guardian families in place in order to protect us, them, and the dog.

Live within 90 minutes of Cookeville TN and be flexible for dropping off and picking up the dog for health testing, vet visits, breeding, and whelping.

Be prepared for a home-visit and provide references prior to the dog/puppy being placed in your care.

Keep the dog safe and contained at all times (fenced in backyard).

Take the dog to the vet for routine vet care. We will pay for health testing and breeding-related vet expenses while the dog is in our program. The guardian is in charge of all routine, pet-related vet expenses, just like you would with any typical pet dog.

Provide basic training that is standard for dog ownership (house, leash, and crate training, and basic obedience).

Keep the dog clean and groomed on a 6-10 week schedule

Feed our recommended diet.

No plans of relocating within the next 5 years.

Understand that we are waiving the purchase price of the dog in exchange for a service. You must be willing to communicate, cooperate and coordinate with us during their time in our program, and be dedicated to providing a safe, loving home for the lifetime of the dog.
